The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hynes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hynes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anstey pinned against the cage. Anstey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hynes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Corwin Anstey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demitre Hynes.
Anstey circles away from the clinch attempt.

A jab-cross combination lands for Anstey and sends Hynes crashing to the mat! Anstey follows him down to the mat - Hynes regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Demitre Hynes has been cut.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anstey connects with a nice short shot to Hynes's temple.

Hynes is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anstey lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Hynes! More strikes land and this one is all over! Anstey jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
