Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Clemens (ranked 2435 p4p, 1859 weight class) and Jesus Christ Karter (ranked 297 p4p, 236 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Clemens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jesus Christ Karter!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Clemens counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Clemens tries to keep at a distance but Karter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Karter lands with a right to the head.
Karter blocks an uppercut.
Clemens lands a nice uppercut.
Clemens's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A chopping leg kick lands by Clemens.
The fighters circling - Clemens throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Clemens moves out of range of the strikes.
Clemens seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Clemens throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Karter throws a head kick but Clemens moves out of range.

Clemens is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Clemens moves in looking to clinch but Karter pushes him off.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Clemens pushes Karter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Clemens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Karter.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Karter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Clemens uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Karter.
Clemens appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Karter lands with a hook. Clemens tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

A telegraphed right hand from Karter misses the target.

and Karter counters with a huge head kick that drops Clemens! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

An out of breath Jesus Christ Karter thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
