Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Diaz (ranked 3073 p4p, 4625 weight class) and Tielo Bonifaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Rain. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz wants to clinch up but Bonifaz keeps it at a distance.

Diaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Diaz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bonifaz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Diaz scrambles back to his feet.

Bonifaz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bonifaz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice uppercut lands for Bonifaz. That snapped Diaz's head back.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Diaz might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Bonifaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bonifaz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Bonifaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diaz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bonifaz has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Diaz throws a wild body kick that Bonifaz sees coming a mile off.
A nice side step and Bonifaz releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Bonifaz counters with a left and a right that stings Diaz.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tielo Bonifaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Diaz looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bonifaz lands a right hand from hell, dropping Diaz. Bonifaz pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
