The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouchard fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hogan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bouchard misses with a hook. Hogan ducked under it nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Hogan misses its target.
Hogan misses with a kick to the body
and Bouchard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hogan throws a lazy right hand but Bouchard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bouchard throws a big shot that misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Hogan misses the target.
Bouchard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bouchard thuds a left hand into Hogan's body.
Hogan scores with a head kick. Bouchard tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hogan.
A left lands for Bouchard.
A low kick lands for Hogan.
Hogan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bouchard manages to avoid it.
Bouchard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hogan at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mathieu Bouchard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bouchard uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hogan.

That kick from Hogan tenderised Bouchard's leg. Bouchard is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hogan wants to clinch but Bouchard slips to the side
and Bouchard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The crowd cheers as Bouchard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hogan doesn't seem phased though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Bouchard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It seemed like Bouchard was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mathieu Bouchard will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hogan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bouchard takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Hogan digs a right hand into Bouchard's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bouchard's gas tank.
Hogan can't find room to land a body shot as Bouchard controls the action.

Hogan gets through Bouchard's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Hogan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hogan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hogan blocks an elbow strike from Bouchard.
Bouchard tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The referee calls for Bouchard to work.
Oh Hogan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bouchard breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Hogan with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Hogan looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Hogan get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
