The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Usamov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barbosa drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Usamov defends it well.
Barbosa takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Barbosa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Usamov is looking to control Barbosa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Usamov avoid being mounted?
Usamov wants to get back to full guard but Barbosa has mounted him!
Usamov has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
