Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Johnny Waldron (ranked 21868 p4p, 22498 weight class) and Dru Quick (ranked 224 p4p, 234 weight class). Quick has chosen Gangster's Paradise- Coolio as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Waldron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dru Quick!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldron scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Quick missing with a left hand there. Waldron was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
As Quick backs away, Waldron returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Waldron has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Jed's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Waldron tries to clinch up but Quick circles away and keeps his distance.
Waldron on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Johnny Waldron has been cut.
Quick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Quick closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Waldron crashing to the mat! Waldron uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Waldron lands with a nice combination. Quick backs away looking to recover.

Waldron throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Waldron scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Johnny Waldron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waldron clobbers Quick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Quick misses with a combination
and Waldron counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Waldron just misses with a punch to the body.
Waldron wants to clinch but Quick slips to the side
and Quick counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Waldron, as that shot connected.
A slow jab from Quick misses its intended target.
Quick misses with a low kick.
Waldron fires out a quick counter leg kick but Quick just manages to avoid it.
Quick avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Quick keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Waldron tries a head kick but it misses.
Quick lands a nice shot that snaps Waldron's head back.
