Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Gracie (ranked 2282 p4p, 2625 weight class) and Jackson Silva (ranked 323 p4p, 360 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Gracie is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gracie avoid being mounted?
Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Silva is trying to stick to Gracie's back but Gracie is turning into Silva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silva's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gracie.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
