Borrego comes into the arena with Bloodlust til Dusk by - MORBID ANGEL blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sova closes the distance and clinches.

Borrego definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Borrego is looking for a sweep. Sova is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Borrego has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sova is working away from the top position though.

Sova is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sova thows a huge punch but Borrego dodges it nicely.

Borrego working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sova doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Borrego is tightening it up a little... Sova has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sova reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sova taps out! Nice BJJ there by Borrego!
