Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alonnus Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurki Potku!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Potku throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Parker doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Potku counter with a right hand.
Potku jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Alonnus Parker has been cut.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Potku paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Potku! But no joy.

and Potku counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker wants to clinch.

Parker tries to clinch up but Potku circles away and keeps his distance.
Parker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Potku throws out a loose jab but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Potku defends it nicely.

and Potku counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alonnus Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Potku works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Potku stuns Parker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Potku looks to land a right hand but Parker moved out of range.
Parker changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Potku throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Potku connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Potku is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Parker.
Potku misses with an uppercut. Parker saw that one coming.

Parker moves into range and clinches up with Potku.

Potku manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Potku.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jab, jab by Potku - just one landing.

Alonnus Parker's cut is getting worse.

Potku lands a big right hand that sends Parker crashing to the mat! Potku stays standing though and waves Parker back to his feet!

Parker is rocked!
Parker leaves his chin hanging out and Potku seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Parker crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kurki Potku!
