Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Nessen (ranked 4686 p4p, 24998 weight class) and Anas Kospas (ranked 555 p4p, 770 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Nessen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anas Kospas!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nessen moves into range and clinches up with Kospas.

Nessen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nessen is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Nessen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kospas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kospas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kospas's coach down at Alpha Brasil was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kospas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Nessen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Kospas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
