PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fuske Fuse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kshymensky has chosen let it rock as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fuske Fuse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Kshymensky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kshymensky closes the distance and clinches up with Fuse, looking for a takedown. Kshymensky pushes Fuse against the cage but Fuse circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fuse looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Kshymensky shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kshymensky was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fuse is trying desperately to improve position.
The referee warns Fuse that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kshymensky can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fuse is looking to escape.

Kshymensky lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fuse tries to kick Kshymensky off but Kshymensky keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Fuse flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Fuse makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fuse.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kshymensky is working for a submission of some sort.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fuse makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fuse.
Fuse looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kshymensky is one step ahead there.
Kshymensky prevents Fuse from getting back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fuse manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fuse prevents Kshymensky from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Fuse throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's time! Fuse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Kshymensky looks for a takedown but Fuse sprawls well.
Fuse throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kshymensky walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fuse checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kshymensky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fuse!
Fuse is trying to stand but he's just given Kshymensky his back.
Fuse tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Fuse manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Kshymensky wants to control but Fuse is keeping him busy.
Fuse lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Fuse is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kshymensky jumps into side control!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fuse tries to close the distance and clinch but Kshymensky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A nice combination there by Fuse.
Kshymensky shoots in looking for a takedown. Fuse tries to sprawl out of it but Kshymensky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fuse manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kshymensky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fuse is fending him off so far but Kshymensky persists. Nope, Fuse circles away and we're back to standing.
Fuske Fuse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Kshymensky.
Kshymensky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fuse as he jumps to the side.

Fuse gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fuse pushes Kshymensky off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Horrible takedown by Kshymensky or perhaps it was just good defense by Fuse which made him look bad.

Fuse pushes Kshymensky off looking to stand but Kshymensky dives back in and keeps control.

Jesse Kshymensky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kshymensky winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
