The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Oberlander. No joy for Thibodeaux on that attempt.
Oberlander throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oberlander scores with a jab to the jaw.
Oberlander bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thibodeaux's head backwards.

It looks like Derogatory Thibodeaux has been cut.

Oberlander drops Thibodeaux with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Thibodeaux looks back up at him and smiles so Oberlander waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thibodeaux is defended easily by Oberlander.

Oberlander cracks Thibodeaux with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Oberlander has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Thibodeaux to stand back up!
Oberlander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thibodeaux is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Oberlander just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Thibodeaux has gone limp and this one is over!
