PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silly Munky (ranked 4953 p4p, 5940 weight class) and Jonah Gray (ranked 172 p4p, 200 weight class). Munky comes to the cage accompanied by Cold to the core by- PERMAFROST. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gray takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Munky bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gray misses with a looping right.

letting Munky counter with a right hand.

It looks like Jonah Gray has been cut.

Munky feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gray sprawling to the canvas! Gray rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Munky finish him?!

Gray is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gray looks winded!
Munky finds Gray's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Gray flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Munky lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Gray will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Silly Munky!
