And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chester Carlson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grohl lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Chester Carlson has been cut.
Carlson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grohl moves away.
Carlson throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Grohl.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grohl drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grohl jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Grohl won't allow Carlson to get back to his feet.
Carlson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grohl. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grohl works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Carlson is trying to stand.

Carlson pushes Grohl off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Grohl.
Carlson wants to get back to his feet.

Grohl is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carlson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Carlson tries to escape but Grohl is in control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Grohl is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Carlson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Grohl gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Carlson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Grohl lets go of the hold and Carlson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
