Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaz Moore (ranked 24740 p4p, 6067 weight class) and Ben Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jaz Moore has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaz Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Sonnen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moore looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sonnen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moore's waist but Moore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sonnen off to one side.
Moore went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Moore shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sonnen defends it nicely.
Sonnen drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Moore defends it well.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sonnen or perhaps it was just good defense by Moore, which made it look bad.
Jaz Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Sonnen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sonnen connects with a couple of short punches.

Sonnen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sonnen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Sonnen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sonnen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sonnen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Sonnen stands and throws Moore's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Moore looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Moore takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Moore takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sonnen is chipping away with strikes.
Check out the look on Sonnen's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Sonnen scores with a couple of short elbows.
Sonnen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Sonnen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moore down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore is looking for a sweep.
Sonnen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Moore is rocked!
Sonnen lands a few punches from side control.
Oh Moore is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Moore is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sonnen connects with a decent elbow.
