Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Daddy (ranked 2165 p4p, 2895 weight class) and Arseth Oysten (ranked 286 p4p, 369 weight class). Oysten has chosen FREEZING MOON as his entrance music. Arseth Oysten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Big Daddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Arseth Oysten!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daddy dives in and scores a takedown into Oysten's guard.

Daddy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oysten wants to sweep here but Daddy controlling him for the moment.
Daddy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oysten swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oysten manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daddy manages to get himself to full guard.

Oysten passes Daddy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Daddy is not content to let Oysten control the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
