Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Ligachev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Mondo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Mondo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikhail Ligachev!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondo tries to clinch but Ligachev moves out of range.
Ligachev ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ligachev swats away the attempt to clinch by Mondo.
Mondo is looking to clinch.
Mondo shoots in for a double leg but Ligachev sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mondo tries to clinch but Ligachev moves out of range.
Ligachev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mondo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ligachev closes the distance and pushes Mondo back into the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Mondo throws an elbow but misses.
Ligachev just leaning against Mondo, taking a breather.
Ligachev lands a left hand.

Mondo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mondo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mondo wants to clinch
and Ligachev counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Mondo! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
