Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brantt Myhres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Yagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Yagan's choice of entrance music: Thunderstruck. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roman Yagan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myhres throws a series of punches but Yagan avoids them all with ease.
Myhres misses with a jab, cross combination.
Yagan misses with a takedown attempt - Myhres sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Yagan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Myhres stuffs the takedown.
Brantt Myhres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Yagan.

Yagan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Myhres to the mat! Myhres manages to get full guard.

Myhres pushes Yagan off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Yagan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Myhres as he avoids it easily.
Yagan looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Myhres scores with a jab to the body.
Myhres fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yagan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Roman Yagan has been cut.
Myhres tries to bum rush Yagan with a series of wild strikes but Yagan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Myhres lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yagan circles away quickly and effectively.
Myhres misses with a jab, cross combination.
Myhres goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Yagan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Brantt Myhres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myhres tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Yagan is able to avoid easily.
Myhres fails to land with a series of punches.
Myhres throws a series of punches but Yagan moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Yagan or perhaps it was just good defense by Myhres which made him look bad.

Myhres dances in with a quick combination. Yagan is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Myhres snaps Yagan's head back. Yagan stumbles backwards against the cage. Myhres steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Yagan's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Yagan just didn't come prepared.
