PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Emeritus Forge (ranked 6566 p4p, 6204 weight class) and Gogel Gmial (ranked 629 p4p, 602 weight class). Forge comes to the ring accompanied by Cirice. On his way into the ring it seems that Emeritus Forge has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Emeritus Forge seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forge misses with a series of wild punches.
Forge moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromGmial.
Forge throws a body shot but no joy.
Forge lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gmial circles away quickly and effectively.
Gmial buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Forge lands a jab-cross combination.
Forge misses with an uppercut
and Gmial counters with a straight right hand.
Gmial lands with an overhand left.
Emeritus Forge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gmial cracks Forge with a good jab.
Gmial dodges the punch combination from Forge.
Forge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gmial connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Forge throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gmial counters with a stiff right hand.
Gmial has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Forge throws a right hand that Gmial ducks under and follows up with a left that Gmial also avoids with ease.
Gmial jabs at Forge's body.
Forge misses with the combination.
Gmial looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That kick from Gmial tenderised Forge's leg. Forge is trying to keep his angry face on.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Forge on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Forge misses with an uppercut.
Forge tries to land a front kick but Gmial steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Gmial looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gmial fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Forge has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gmial avoids the head kick by Forge.
A head kick from Gmial lands but Forge takes it in his stride.

Forge is rocked!
Forge walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Forge is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
