Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Afa Nbaku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gord Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Nbaku.
A nice side step and Ryan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Ryan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nbaku throws a body kick that misses.
Nbaku misses with a wild body shot.
Ryan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nbaku jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nbaku tries to land a front kick but Ryan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ryan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nbaku has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bone Breakerz in the buildup to the fight.
Ryan avoids the head kick by Nbaku.
Ryan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Nbaku throws a sloppy head kick and Ryan moves out of range easily.
Nbaku throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Afa Nbaku has been cut.
Nbaku takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nbaku misses with a hook. Ryan ducked under it nicely.

and Ryan counters with a nice uppercut.
Ryan moves out of range of the body kick from Nbaku.
Ryan avoids the head kick by Nbaku.
Ryan throws out a counter right but Nbaku avoids it with no problem.
Nbaku takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nbaku looks to throw a body kick
and Ryan counters with a nice right hand that sends Nbaku toppling to the canvas! Nbaku scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ryan finish him?!
Nbaku is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nbaku throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ryan's head.
Nbaku misses with a looping right.
Nbaku moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ryan lands a big right hand that sends Nbaku crashing to the mat! Ryan stays standing though and waves Nbaku back to his feet!
Oh Nbaku is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nbaku is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Ryan doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Nbaku crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Nbaku's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gord Ryan!
