Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory McCoy (ranked 3796 p4p, 5050 weight class) and Lord Seshomaru (ranked 128 p4p, 174 weight class). Seshomaru has chosen Slash and dash by- KILLERCROSS as his entrance music. Cory McCoy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy misses with a two punch combination.
McCoy circles away from the clinch attempt.
McCoy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McCoy is defended easily by Seshomaru.

Seshomaru shoots in and gets a takedown into McCoy's guard.
Seshomaru postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCoy wants to sweep but no luck.
McCoy working a defensive guard here.
McCoy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

McCoy passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCoy working over Seshomaru with some ground and pound. Seshomaru looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Seshomaru really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Seshomaru is trying to maintain the position but McCoy is very close to passing his half guard.
McCoy lands strikes from half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Seshomaru can do anything to dispel that myth.

McCoy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Seshomaru is just riding it out for now. McCoy eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCoy lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Seshomaru quite badly. Seshomaru pulls McCoy in close trying to recover. McCoy postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Seshomaru on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Seshomaru doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory McCoy!
In defeat, Lord Seshomaru stepped up to the mic, saying 'Damn you INUYASHA!!!!'.
