PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tech Nizzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nizzle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Midwest Choppers. Tech Nizzle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nizzle lands a lovely overhand right.
Nizzle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nizzle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Lesnar gets the takedown into side control.
Nizzle parries the strikes from Lesnar easily there. Lesnar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nizzle to escape.

Lesnar stands up and beckons Nizzle to his feet.
Lesnar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lesnar there as he acknowledges the shot.

Lesnar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lesnar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lesnar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nizzle defends it well.

Nizzle gets back to full guard.
Nizzle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lesnar trying to control but Nizzle is working from the bottom.
Nizzle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Nizzle.
A left and a right from Nizzle both land. Nice combination.
Nizzle connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lesnar tumbling to the canvas! Nizzle pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lesnar was done - good stoppage!
