Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panda Four (ranked 1576 p4p, 2977 weight class) and James Rocksteady (ranked 216 p4p, 396 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rocksteady's choice of entrance music: Red Right Hand. James Rocksteady has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Rocksteady!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Four decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Four is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rocksteady doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Four.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Four shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rocksteady as he avoids it easily.

Rocksteady got a little sloppy there for a moment and Four has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rocksteady has managed to get both his arms back between Four's legs - danger averted.

Rocksteady shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rocksteady showed some decent athleticism there.

Four has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rocksteady is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Four.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rocksteady looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Four with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rocksteady lands a nice short elbow.

Rocksteady working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Rocksteady seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
