Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Clayton Daniels!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, DeVon Hampton!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daniels darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hampton is refusing to be controlled, as Daniels sits in half guard.

Daniels closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hampton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Daniels's guard.

Daniels has hold of Hampton's hands but Hampton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hampton lands a nice short elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hampton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hampton looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Daniels covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
