Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim ILJONG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Gap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think ILJONG might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ain't talkin' bout love. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ILJONG tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gap was well out of range. Poor timing from ILJONG.

Gap gets a takedown into half guard.

Gap seems to be working for a kimura but ILJONG defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ILJONG regains full guard. Nicely done.

Gap stands up and waves to ILJONG to follow him.
Kim ILJONG seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gap fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
ILJONG swings for the body but Gap moves out of range.
Gap shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has ILJONG pinned against the cage. ILJONG gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
ILJONG lands a left and a right that sends Gap crashing to the canvas! ILJONG dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Patrick Gap has been cut.

Gap sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Gap tries to roll over but ILJONG keeps him under control.
ILJONG wants to pass the guard but Gap is defending well.

ILJONG is thwarting Gap's attempts to control the position.
ILJONG is pressing down on Gap's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gap is holding on for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kim ILJONG just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Gap throws out a loose jab but ILJONG uses good head movement to avoid it.
ILJONG scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
ILJONG lands with an uppercut that bounces Gap off the cage and back into rage.
Gap shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says ILJONG as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gap scores with the left hand. ILJONG knows he should have avoided that one.

ILJONG feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Gap crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
