Cao 's entrance music is Pedestrian At Best - Courtney Barnett. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Barnes loads up on a big right hand but Cao slips the punch.

We've been told by Cao 's head coaches at Golden Harvest that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Barnes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Barnes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looked like Cao was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Barnes.
Cao lands with a hook. Barnes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Barnes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cao to score with a decent uppercut.
Cao circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Barnes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Cao follows Barnes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
