Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Butterball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Kamikaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamikaze misses with a looping left.

Kamikaze throws a looping overhand right but Butterball ducks down to avoid it.
Butterball shoots in looking for a takedown. Kamikaze tries to sprawl out of it but Butterball keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kamikaze manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kamikaze lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Kamikaze is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Butterball is staying active.
Kamikaze might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Butterball kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Butterball will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee warns Kamikaze that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Butterball goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kamikaze turns into him and now he's in Butterball's guard.
Butterball is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
