Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gervonta Davis (ranked 4818 p4p, 5125 weight class) and Ron Capone (ranked 505 p4p, 528 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Unstoppable - Gervonta Davis ▶ Motivation. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gervonta Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Capone!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a big shot that misses.
Capone appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Capone misses with a double jab.
Davis misses with an uppercut
and Capone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Davis swinging wildly here.
Capone ducks right into an uppercut from Davis.
Capone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Davis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Capone is looking for the big counter here.
Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Capone slips a straight right by Davis.
A big right from Davis misses.
Capone tries to score with a low kick but Davis moves his leg out of the way.
A counter left hand to the body from Davis misses its target.
Capone with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Davis to score with a decent uppercut.
Capone is rocked!
Danga de danga de dang - Capone scores with a four punch combination!
Capone is still on wobbly legs! Can Davis finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Capone doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Capone tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Davis wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gervonta Davis!
A relieved looking Gervonta Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
