Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mawi Da Oxlade (ranked 1304 p4p, 1552 weight class) and Charlie Hall (ranked 198 p4p, 224 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall throws a hook to the side of Da Oxlade's head but Da Oxlade sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Da Oxlade manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Da Oxlade is looking for a counter combo.
Da Oxlade tried to score with a low kick but Hall checks it.
Da Oxlade defending well as Hall loads up on a big left hand.
Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Da Oxlade.
Da Oxlade swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Hall throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Hall connects with a right hand. Da Oxlade shakes it off.

Hall lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Mawi Da Oxlade has been cut.

Hall goes for a double leg but Da Oxlade avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Da Oxlade continues to drive forward.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
