The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Hero Liu Cao has been cut.
Hornblower walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cao pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hornblower walks into a left hand.
Hornblower throws a lazy uppercut
and Cao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hornblower misses with a body kick.
Cao getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

and Cao scores with a counter punch that sends Hornblower to the canvas! Cao smells blood - he's punishing Hornblower with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hornblower has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
