The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falante just misses with a punch to the body.
Makuryunkan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Makuryunkan there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Gosharif Makuryunkan has been cut.
Falante scores with a nice strike.
Makuryunkan has a takedown stuffed.
Falante swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Horrible takedown attempt by Makuryunkan or perhaps it was just good defense by Falante, which made it look bad.

Makuryunkan tries to clinch up but Falante circles away and keeps his distance.
Falante swings for the body but Makuryunkan moves out of range.
Falante fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Makuryunkan takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Falante cracks Makuryunkan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Makuryunkan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Falante finish him?

The cut above Gosharif Makuryunkan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Falante is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makuryunkan walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Falante swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
