Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Hayden Allen (ranked 6163 p4p, 6170 weight class) and Johnny Hammer (ranked 566 p4p, 567 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hayden Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Hammer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Allen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Allen wants to clinch up but Hammer keeps it at a distance.

Hammer throws out a head kick that Allen doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Allen crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Allen's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

It looks like Hayden Allen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Allen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
