Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grandon Vozzy (ranked 4666 p4p, 4715 weight class) and Roque Davi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vozzy - that will leave a mark!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davi enables Vozzy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davi is on top in guard.

Vozzy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davi on the ground.

Davi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Davi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vozzy, who protects the arm well.
Davi looks up at the clock and then as Vozzy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Davi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Davi has hold of Vozzy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vozzy seems comfortable defending it but Davi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vozzy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vozzy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Davi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
