Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dricus Du Plessis (ranked 22695 p4p, 2719 weight class) and Chuck Roast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Du Plessis's entrance music is Gangster's Paradise. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roast tries to clinch but Du Plessis is having none of it.
Du Plessis appears to be looking for a big counter.
Roast forces Du Plessis back against the cage and clinches.

Roast dips a shoulder and cracks Du Plessis with a mighty uppercut! Du Plessis falls back against the cage and Roast unloads with a barrage of strikes! Du Plessis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Roast screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Dricus Du Plessis was interviewed post fight and said 'In this game you never lose. You either win or you learn. Tonight he taught me a lesson and for that I thank him. I will improve.'.
