Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Ferreira-Alves (ranked 1896 p4p, 1542 weight class) and Benedicte Swanson (ranked 244 p4p, 209 weight class). Ferreira-Alves comes to the cage accompanied by The Mountain - Jucifer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benedicte Swanson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson lands a right hook to the body.
Swanson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ferreira-Alves misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Swanson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ferreira-Alves really felt that one!
Ferreira-Alves tries to score a power double leg takedown but Swanson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ferreira-Alves somewhat.
Ferreira-Alves does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
