Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manolito Tai Kung (ranked 1132 p4p, 1115 weight class) and Wally Kruschev (ranked 152 p4p, 149 weight class). Kruschev has chosen Pissed Off and Mad About it (Texas Hippie Coalition) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruschev connects with a body shot that sends Tai Kung's belly button to the back.
Kruschev throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tai Kung tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kruschev was well out of range. Poor timing from Tai Kung.

and Tai Kung counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tai Kung throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Kruschev lands a nice hook to Tai Kung's body. Tai Kung takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

It looked like Tai Kung was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Tai Kung checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Wally Kruschev dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Tai Kung counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kruschev! Tai Kung lets Kruschev back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tai Kung was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Tai Kung cracks Kruschev on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kruschev falls backwards against the cage. Tai Kung follows up with more strikes that drop Kruschev to his knees. Tai Kung keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kruschev! This one is all over!
