The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Pik looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Batista scores with a couple of short elbows.
Pik takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
It looks like Heste Pik has been cut.
Batista landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Batista wants to stand but Pik is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
