Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and G BB (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes into the arena with 2Pac - My ambitions as a ridah blaring out of the sound system. Kenny Gomi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi lands a jab to BB's midsection.
Gomi scores a takedown into full mount!
Gomi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and BB is now in Gomi's guard. A big mistake from Gomi there, giving up the dominant position!
BB won't allow Gomi to sweep him here.
Gomi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BB's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Gomi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but BB moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

BB takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Gomi looks up at the clock and then as BB takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gomi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
