Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Dale (ranked 5026 p4p, 4923 weight class) and Trever Reeves (ranked 581 p4p, 573 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Helen Dale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trever Reeves!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Reeves did well to prevent Dale getting side control.
Reeves looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dale not doing much here.
Dale postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Reeves to stand up.
Reeves connects with the punch.
It looks like Helen Dale has been cut.
Reeves clinches with his opponent.
Reeves is pushing Dale up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reeves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dale closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Reeves quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reeves is looking to escape.
Dale is controlling the pace.

Reeves is trying to stand up here but Dale is controlling him well.
Dale is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Reeves tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Dale manages to move to mount!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Reeves is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Dale controlling his opponent.

Dale lands a big shot there that rocks Reeves but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Dale controlling the position easily from mount.
Dale's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dale quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dale but it's paid off an Reeves is forced to tap! Nice work by Dale.
