Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Roman (ranked 24731 p4p, 5896 weight class) and Yovko Yovkov (ranked 753 p4p, 680 weight class). Yovko Yovkov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman tries to clinch up but Yovkov circles away and keeps his distance.
Yovkov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Roman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Yovkov bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Yovkov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yovkov lands in his opponent's guard.

Yovkov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yovkov.

Let's hope that Yovkov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Yovkov has control of Roman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Roman manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Yovkov keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
