Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 24740 p4p, 24536 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Xxx closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Xxx lands in his opponent's guard.
Sss controls Xxx momentarily but Xxx frees himself.
Xxx slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Xxx is fighting to break Sss's control of his arms but Sss is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sss not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Sss wants to get back to his feet but Xxx is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Xxx not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Xxx throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sss works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sss throws a wild body kick that Xxx sees coming a mile off.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sss tries to land a front kick but Xxx steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
As Sss backs off Xxx throws a huge counter combo but Sss manages to avoid it all.
Sss stuffs the takedown.
It appears Sss was looking to counter with a kick there.

Xxx closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sss quickly recovers to half guard.
Xxx is looking to advance position but Sss won't allow it.
Xxx with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Sss looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Xxx in particular looking to stall.
Sss tries to kick Xxx off in order to stand up. Xxx Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sss is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Xxx is controlling him well.
Xxx controls the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Xxx fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Xxx throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sss tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Xxx is in Sss's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action!

Nice sprawl there from Xxx as Sss shoots in.
Xxx raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sss or perhaps it was just good defense by Xxx, which made it look bad.
Sss looks for a takedown but Xxx sprawls well.
Xxx with the counter takedown but Sss avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sss tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Xxx defends well and Sss ends up having to push Xxx into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Xxx shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sss defends it nicely.

Sss looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xxx keeping moving, preventing Sss from controlling successfully.
Sss is working Xxx over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sss is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Sss wants to stand but Xxx has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Sss trying to control the position from guard on top but Xxx is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Xxx looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Xxx looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sss wants to get back to his feet but Xxx passes into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sss wants to control the action here but instead Xxx manages to pass to full mount!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Sss's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Xxx shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sss defends it nicely.
Xxx closes the distance and clinches up with Sss, looking for a takedown. Xxx pushes Sss against the cage but Sss circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sss has a takedown stuffed.

Xxx shoots in and bounces Sss off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sss wants to get back to his feet but Xxx passes into half guard.

Xxx looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sss is looking to escape.
Xxx is thwarting Sss's attempts to control the position.
Xxx stops Sss from getting back to his feet.

Sss pushes Xxx off and gets back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Xxx gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sss counters with a body kick that stops Xxx in his tracks momentarily.
Sss Sss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.

Xxx changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sss looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sss is letting Xxx control him for a moment.
Sss pushes Xxx away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Xxx gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sss is pushing Xxx's head away, looking to escape. Xxx manages to hold on to the position though.
Xxx controlling the position.
Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sss wants to get back to his feet but Xxx drags him back down.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sss Sss.
I think Xxx has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
