Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wu Tai (ranked 4031 p4p, 4792 weight class) and Geared Jaycood (ranked 0 p4p, 493 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaycood ducks under a wild hook from Tai.

Jaycood tries to keep at a distance but Tai has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tai is trying to pull guard but Jaycood has him pressed against the cage.
Tai fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Tai pulls guard effortlessly.

Jaycood got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jaycood has managed to get both his arms back between Tai's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jaycood has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jaycood is keen to just control but Tai is a slippery customer.
Tai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tai.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaycood is sitting in close to Tai's body. Tai has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jaycood is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jaycood is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tai.
