Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Meet Me (ranked 4128 p4p, 24982 weight class) and Zoe Jab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zoe Jab is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zoe Jab!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Me .
Jab has his takedown stuffed

and Me counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Me .
Me prevents a body shot from Jab.

Me breaks from the clinch.

Me darts in and clinches Jab up against the cage.

Me gets control of Jab's arms and successfully pulls guard. Me will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Me is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jab is aware though and is defending well.
Me will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jab avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Me really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Me seems keen to control Jab's posture.
Jab won't allow Me to get back to his feet.

Jab really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Me . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Me throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jab escapes and throws Me 's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Me manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jab is keen to just control but Me is a slippery customer.
Me is concentrating on defense, preventing Jab from advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jab trying to control the action but Me is working from the bottom.
Me gets back to full guard.
Jab must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jab stops Me from standing up.
Jab throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Me works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Me bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jab's guard.

Me tries to free his leg and advance position but Jab is retaining full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Me advances position into side control!

Me tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Me has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Me lands an elbow.
Me in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Me tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Me wants to stand but Jab has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Jab tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Me manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Me has managed to clinch.

Me escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jab feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Me working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jab doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jab manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Me is looking for a triangle but Jab pushes his legs off easily.
Me is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Meet Me overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Me looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Me 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jab looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Me manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jab manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jab can't keep his opponent in guard - Me advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
