Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amir Faheem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tidwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faheem comes to the cage accompanied by Tunak Tunak Tun. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tidwell's choice of entrance music: Papercut. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amir Faheem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Tidwell!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faheem fails with an attempt to clinch.
Faheem doesn't manage to clinch there - Tidwell circles away.
Tidwell keeps the fight on the outside.
Tidwell fails to land the takedown.
Faheem moves in looking to clinch but Tidwell pushes him off.
Tidwell shoots in and drives through. Faheem sprawls well.
Faheem shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tidwell's guard.
Faheem is in close to Tidwell's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tidwell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Faheem is landing with some decent strikes but Tidwell is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Faheem has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tidwell's face.
BOOM! Faheem connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Faheem jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tidwell is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tidwell and Faheem has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Faheem is keen to just control but Tidwell is a slippery customer.
Faheem is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tidwell wants to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Faheem looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Tidwell is staying active underneath Faheem, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Faheem tries to pass to full mount but Tidwell defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tidwell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Faheem counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Faheem trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Faheem is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tidwell had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Faheem is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tidwell Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Faheem's back instead.
Faheem manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tidwell's guard. Nice work there by Faheem.

Faheem tries to close the distance and clinch but Tidwell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Faheem drives through and clinches with Tidwell against the cage.

Tidwell changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Faheem fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Faheem controls Tidwell momentarily but Tidwell frees himself.

Tidwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Faheem has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tidwell has managed to get both his arms back between Faheem's legs - danger averted.
Tidwell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
