Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between CJ Tripp (ranked 1215 p4p, 1926 weight class) and Frankie Griggs (ranked 163 p4p, 239 weight class). Griggs is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: LL Cool J- Momma Said Knock You Out. On his way into the cage it seems that CJ Tripp has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily CJ Tripp seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Griggs's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tripp connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Griggs scrambles back to his feet.

Tripp fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Griggs has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Griggs might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Griggs drops his hands momentarily. Tripp doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Griggs staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Griggs doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
