Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Jordao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyreke Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Evans shoots in but Jordao avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Evans has a takedown stuffed.
Evans changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jordao tries to avoid it but Evans manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jordao to the ground. Jordao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kevin Jordao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyreke Evans.
Jordao throws a big shot that misses.

Jordao thows a body shot but no joy.

Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Evans sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jordao's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jordao manages to get to full guard.
Jordao can't keep his opponent in guard - Evans advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evans looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jordao tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Jordao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jordao manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Jordao's guard.

Jordao tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Evans works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Evans frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyreke Evans dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Horrible takedown by Evans or perhaps it was just good defense by Jordao which made him look bad.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Jordao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jordao manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Jordao's guard.

Evans postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jordao is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Evans, into his guard.
Jordao is pushing down on Evans's leg trying to pass to half guard. Evans is fighting to maintain full guard but Jordao has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jordao is trying to control the action in half guard but Evans is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Evans works his way to full guard. Good work.

Evans has his foot on Jordao's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jordao works his way back into a safe position though.

Jordao throws a big right hand that misses.

Jordao has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Evans to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jordao is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Evans pulls down on the head and he's put Jordao to sleep! This one is all over!
