Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Lemire (ranked 5785 p4p, 4209 weight class) and Fuyuki Mutou (ranked 457 p4p, 381 weight class). Fuyuki Mutou has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutou lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mutou.
Lemire goes for a double leg but Mutou avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mutou continues to drive forward.
Lemire is trying to pull guard but Mutou has him pressed against the cage.
Lemire has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mutou is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lemire drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mutou looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mutou looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mutou!

Mutou misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lemire closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mutou did well to prevent Lemire getting side control.

Lemire is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mutou is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mutou has escaped and now he's on top!
