Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Schneider (ranked 5666 p4p, 25165 weight class) and Ben Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stefan Schneider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schneider gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Diaz scores with a sloppy right hand. Schneider should have avoided that one.
Diaz lands a two punch combo.
Schneider doesn't manage to clinch there - Diaz circles away.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schneider moves into the clinch.
Diaz tries to break free but Schneider pushes him back against the cage.
Diaz is looking to break free of the clinch but Schneider has double underhooks.
Schneider tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Diaz smiles and moves away.
Diaz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Schneider's hands.
Schneider moves into the clinch successfully.

Diaz has had enough of the clinch but Schneider keeps him there for the moment.

Diaz tries to break the clinch but Schneider is controlling the position.

Schneider is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Schneider working for a triangle but Diaz defends it easily.
Diaz stands and steps away. Schneider gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Schneider has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Schneider there as he acknowledges the shot.

Diaz lands a jab.
Diaz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schneider's head backwards.
Diaz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Schneider is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Schneider rushes Diaz and presses him up against the cage.
Schneider has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Diaz uses from the top position.
Schneider is working an open guard so Diaz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Schneider tries to move into range but Diaz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Schneider looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Schneider wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Schneider looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Ben Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Schneider under the eye.
Schneider is rocked!
Schneider drives through and clinches with Diaz against the cage.
Oh Schneider is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Schneider seems to have got his legs back now.
Schneider tries to pull guard but Diaz won't allow it.
Diaz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Schneider has him pressed against the cage.
Diaz is trying to break the clinch but Schneider has him pressed against the cage.
Schneider jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diaz walks away with a smile on his face. Schneider gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Diaz keeps the fight on the outside.
Diaz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Schneider closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Diaz dips to his left and cracks Schneider with an uppercut!
Diaz drops Schneider with a huge uppercut! Schneider drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Diaz is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Diaz!
Stefan Schneider spoke after the fight, saying 'Respect to my opponent it doesn't matter that I lost IM only 25 and improving every fight and IM gonna come back and win my next fight!'.
