The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bounty misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bounty lands a jab to OConnor's midsection.

Bounty darts in and clinches OConnor up against the ropes.
OConnor misses with an elbow over the top.
OConnor throws a head punch that misses.
Bounty takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Jamie Bounty has been cut.

OConnor creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bounty pushes OConnor back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bounty works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bounty breaks the clinch.

OConnor walks into a stiff left hand from Bounty.

OConnor tries to counter with a clinch but Bounty shakes him off and moves away.

OConnor looks to throw an elbow but misses.

OConnor throws an elbow that misses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by OConnor.

Bounty escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bounty is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but OConnor is keeping busy.
OConnor creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bounty lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Bounty blocks an elbow strike.

Bounty breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bounty gets through OConnor's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Bounty jumps guard and drags OConnor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

OConnor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bounty looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bounty looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bounty!

Bounty has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bounty clinches up with OConnor and pushes him back against the ropes.
Bounty avoids the elbow strike from OConnor, against the ropes.
OConnor pushes off an throws an elbow but Bounty leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, OConnor just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bounty's brow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
OConnor is pressed up against the ropes. Bounty has hold of a leg and is looking to drag OConnor down to the mat. OConnor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bounty misses with a low kick.
OConnor wants to counter with a clinch but Bounty pushes him away.

Oooooh!!! Bounty has knocked OConnor down with a huge combo! Bounty steps away and waves a wobbly OConnor back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

OConnor is rocked!

It looks like William OConnor has been cut.

OConnor tries to keep at a distance but Bounty has taken the fight into the clinch.
OConnor is still on wobbly legs! Can Bounty finish him?

Bounty manages to break the clinch.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Bounty has cracked OConnor with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Bounty lands another huge swinging hook and OConnor tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save OConnor, before Bounty can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jamie Bounty!
Jamie Bounty opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
