The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade misses with a takedown attempt - Overeem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Andrade shoots for a takedown but Overeem saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Andrade avoids a punch combination nicely.
Andrade looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Andrade. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Andrade shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Overeem pinned against the cage. Overeem gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Overeem is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Overeem closes the distance and clinches up with Andrade, looking for a takedown. Overeem pushes Andrade against the cage but Andrade circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Andrade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Overeem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andrade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Andrade slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Andrade stands and throws Overeem's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Overeem tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Andrade easily slips into full mount!
Overeem in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Overeem is trying desperately to improve position.

Overeem is looking to improve his position but Andrade isn't that keen on the idea.

Overeem defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Andrade.
Overeem tries to reverse the position but Andrade maintains control.
Overeem is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Overeem tries to hold on but Andrade postures up.
Andrade postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Overeem looks a forlorn figure.
Andrade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Andrade has isolated one of Overeem's arms. Overeem looking to fight him off but Andrade twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
